Camp NaNoWriMo 2019

I made a futile attempt at Camp NaNo April this year. Things just didn’t not go well. I have a lot of excuses I could throw at you but at the end of the day I just wasn’t in the zone for writing. With any luck Camp NaNo July will go better. There’s a holiday and a pretty laid back month as far as work goes so I hope to have a little more brain power. We won’t have a teething puppy to worry about either.

I don’t really have a direction yet for what project I’m working on. I might hit up TPF and work on a different character instead of the main duo. Or maybe I’ll just work on world building. I still have to plan this year’s NaNoWriMo as well. No vacation in the middle of the month so maybe that won’t be such a cram fest hahaha. If I ever make progress on something this will be the first place to be updated.

Projects

I have dozens of unfinished works. It’s a little crazy. Writing is just a part time thing for me so my progress is normally pretty slow/non-existent. This is a small selection of my main projects.

  • East of the Sun, West of the Moon – A retelling/re-imagining of the Norwegian fairy tale.
  • Fate – Space, pirates, government, drugs.
  • Sarisa – Twins hold the key to ending a war. But there’s a problem. One of them is already dead.
  • Warmage – A princess of a crumbling empire finds a new life in a distant land.
  • TPF – Universe with demons, witches, and other crazy creatures in a major metropolitan area.
